Invented by Karl and Bertha Benz in 1885, the Benz Patent-Motorwagen is considered the world’s first automobile.
Examine the mechanical details. We inverse kinematically animated the entire powertrain including the single piston engine and its chain driven rear wheels.
Created from over 1,500 digital pieces, the entire assembly scene was built from a single cut-free camera path. No detail was left untouched.
Custom shaders were built alongside dynamically placed lighting within the animated scene to best highlight the natural textures and reflective finishes on the Motorwagen.
